From time to time, HPI sponsors a sidewalk replacement program. It is initiated and managed by the Projects Committee after receiving approval from the Board of Directors. The years when the program is offered is usually determined by the number and cost of other HPI projects. At this time, the program is not being offered.
After announcing the program and receiving information from interested homeowners, a single contractor is selected to replace or repair sidewalks as requested. Homeowners are responsible for 50% or more of the total cost for their sidewalks, with HPI contributing the remainder. A single contractor can usually offer significant savings by pouring many sidewalks at once.
